Players' 'Thank-You' To Retain Family Feel This Weekend

Leicester City’s players will seek to maintain the family traditions of our seasonal lap of appreciation by thanking the Club’s supporters following Saturday’s visit of West Ham United to King Power Stadium.

The rescheduling of our gameweek 31 fixture against Arsenal (Wednesday 9 May, 7.45pm) means Saturday’s visit of the Hammers will be the Foxes’ penultimate home game of the Premier League campaign.

But with the Arsenal fixture now taking place on a weekday evening, the Club feels the family theme of the tradition will be better maintained following Saturday’s game. The owners, players and first team staff will be joined by their families post-match to show their appreciation for the outstanding support of the Blue Army this season.

Supporters are encouraged to remain in their seats following the conclusion of Saturday’s game. The players will briefly return to the dressing room to collect their families before embarking on the traditional lap.

To ensure that the lap of appreciation can take place and for the safety of the players and their young families, the Club kindly asks supporters to remain in their seats and to keep off the pitch AND the perimeter track.

Pre-match activity on Saturday includes the 38th edition of Club Ambassador Alan Birchenall’s annual charity run, which this year will be supporting the Leicester Children’s Holiday Centre. Click HERE for more information, including details of how to donate.
