We Will Push Hard, Says Fuchs

Leicester City will endeavour to bounce back from Saturday’s 0-2 reverse to West Ham United when Arsenal visit King Power Stadium, says Christian Fuchs.

Fuchs returned to the starting XI but could not help the Foxes record a positive result as strikes from Joao Mario and Mark Noble earned the Hammers all three Premier League points.

But on Wednesday, City entertain Arsene Wenger’s men and Fuchs believes that is an opportunity to swiftly move on from Saturday’s frustrating loss.

The Austrian told LCFC TV: “West Ham are fighting for survival and it’s tough to play against teams like that. It doesn’t matter who you’re playing against, we’re playing at home, we want to win our games definitely.

Thank you to all the fans who stayed here after the game, keeping up the support.

“We want to try to bring a couple more good performances in before the season ends. We’re playing now against Arsenal at home and Tottenham away and it’s not getting any easier, but I believe that’s our chance.

“Nobody counts on us anyway in those games, especially with the run that we’re on at the moment, so we are trying to push hard, we’re trying to give our best in the last two games and hope that we can get some points in the last few games."

Fuchs went on to thank the Blue Army for their continued support throughout the entirety of the 2017/18 season.

Not A Good Feeling, Says Puel

Claude Puel speaks to LCFC TV after Leicester City's 0-2 loss to West Ham United.

“It feels good to have a game in my legs again,” said Fuchs after completing 90 minutes against West Ham.

“Thank you to all the fans who stayed here after the game, keeping up the support.

“Home, away, they’re very special. Also, in bad times, or semi-bad times, as we still have a good position in the table and we still played a good season before with great games, so never forget about that.

“Now it’s two games left and I believe they will also stand behind us.”
