Claude Puel says Leicester City will wait until Saturday to see if Danny Simpson and Aleksandar Dragović are fit enough to face Tottenham Hotspur.
- Leicester City will assess a number of the squad’s stars ahead of Sunday’s visit to Wembley Stadium
- Aleksandar Dragović (shoulder) and Danny Simpson (groin) are both doubts
- Several other first team players will miss out through either injury or suspension
Simpson (groin) appeared to be in pain after coming off in place of Dragović (shoulder) during Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Puel revealed Kasper Schmeichel is likely to miss out against Spurs, as the stopper continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
“I think we will see for Schmeichel but I think it will be difficult for Kasper,” Puel told the media on Friday afternoon.
“Not available [through injury] is [Robert] Huth, [Daniel] Amartey, [Ben] Chilwell, [Matty] James, [Wilfred] Ndidi and [Shinji] Okazaki, and [Marc] Albrighton is another thing (suspended).
“We will see tomorrow with Dragović and Simpson. [Adrien] Silva seems okay, which is good news. I think [Fousseni] Diabaté is okay also.”
