City Touch Down In Austria

For the second-consecutive year, Leicester City will spend a week in Velden, Austria, to ready themselves for their Premier League campaign.

The Foxes will face Akhisarspor at Stadion Villach Lind on Wednesday (5pm BST kick-off) before a clash with Serie A side Udinese at Wörthersee Stadion then comes on Saturday (2pm BST kick-off). Both fixtures will be shown live, for free, on LCFC TV.

City’s journey to Austria began on Monday afternoon, when they flew out to Kalgenfurt airport. Following a short coach ride to their hotel, the squad settled for the evening.

A day of training will follow on Tuesday, before Claude Puel’s men aim to build on their last outing – a 1-4 win at Meadow Lane over Notts County on Saturday.
