- The Academy graduate thanked the Club’s fans for their reception on the lap of appreciation following the game

The 21-year-old England youth international started the Foxes’ three final fixtures of the season, delivering some fine performances against Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Earlier in the campaign, the Academy graduate played pivotal roles in the victories over Chelsea, Man City and Everton, and made a total of 12 appearances for the Foxes.

“To have played the last three games has been really good for me to end on a high,” he told LCFC TV following Sunday’s clash with Chelsea. “I’m excited for next season.

“I think the manager has put a lot of trust into me in the last three games and against three big teams.

“It’s nice and like I said, I’m really looking forward to next season, so hopefully I can improve, push on and keep playing and performing in games.

I think the fans have been outstanding all season long, especially when there’s ups and downs.

After the encounter with Chelsea, the Club’s first-team stars accompanied Khun Top on a lap of appreciation, and, alongside the Blue Army, paid tribute to City’s beloved late Chairman, Khun Vichai.

“I think the fans have been outstanding all season long, especially when there’s ups and downs,” he added.

“With the downs, there’s been good ups too, so it’s so nice to go around a full King Power Stadium here with the fans applauding us and remembering a great man. It’s really nice.”
