The promising defender joined the Foxes from Luton Town last month and checked in at Belvoir Drive for pre-season training on Monday.

Justin's first week has included fitness and conditioning work, as well as sessions out on the pitches at the Club's training facility.

Discussing his first few days among his new team-mates, Justin told LCFC TV: "Yes, it’s been very welcoming.

"The lads have been great to me and obviously we’ve kept the conversation flowing.

"We’ve just finished the SDS run, that was a good laugh, to be fair. I gave it a good go and it’s exciting for the rest of the week.

"To be fair, it’s been much easier that I thought. Loads of the lads have come up to me and introduced themselves, and been very welcoming."

Pre-season is a tough time of the year for any footballer as they are set to task by their managers in order to get back to full fitness swiftly.

Leicester's maiden pre-season under Brendan Rodgers begins at Scunthorpe United on Tuesday 16 July (7:30pm BST kick-off).

Reflecting on the challenges of summer training, the Luton-born defender added: "It’s not crazy difficult, it’s more gearing yourself up towards playing games.

"That’s the most important thing. You need to come back in in good shape. I think I’ve done that, and proved myself on the running up there.

"Obviously, everyone says two weeks until the first game and then the running basically stops after that.

"That’s what we all aim for and that’s just the motto – get through the first two weeks, give it your hardest shot and see where you come out."
