After a successful opening gameweek in which all five players in Taggart’s Foxes’ back line recorded clean sheets, the former Leicester City defender will field an unchanged side for this weekend’s Fantasy Premier League fixtures.

- Gerry Taggart names an unchanged side for this weekend's Fantasy Premier League games
- Taggart's Foxes scored 70 points in Gameweek 1
- City supporters can still enter the Foxes Fan League

Taggart’s Foxes accumulated a total of 70 points, with Kasper Schmeichel and Ricardo Pereira – two players he highlighted prior to the weekend’s opening match – notching up a combined 15 points thanks to City’s shutout against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Elsewhere, former Foxes Harry Kane and Riyad Mahrez registered 13 and 14 points respectively, as both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City recorded victories in their 2019/20 curtain raisers.

While Taggart will not make a change to his side for Gameweek 2, he noted Çağlar Söyüncü’s solid performance against Wolves, as the Turkey international helped Brendan Rodgers’ men to a goalless draw.

Söyüncü is priced at £4.5M on Fantasy Premier League, and has six points to his name heading into Sunday’s encounter with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Taggart said: “He showed good strength against Wolves and now that means that his team-mates can trust him. He’s earned that trust because of his performance on Sunday, and that will go a long way in Leicester City’s upcoming games, starting against Chelsea. Leicester came out of the game with a clean sheet and a point on the board.”

A reminder that supporters are able to take on Taggart’s Foxes by entering the Foxes Fan League code ‘ccjlu4’.
