The Foxes welcome the unbeaten Premier League 2 Division 1 leaders, overseen by coach Andy Myers, to Whetstone on Saturday for their seventh fixture of the 2019/20 league campaign.

Ahead of LCFC TV's live coverage, which begins at 11:45am BST, former Foxes defender St Ledger, on commentary duty this weekend, outlined the scale of the challenge they will face.

Following successive draws with Liverpool's Under-23s and Scunthorpe United's senior side, St Ledger believes a clean sheet will be the target for Leicester at Holmes Park.

It's the league leaders coming to Leicester after a tough midweek fixture against Scunthorpe, a match where they played well for long spells.

"It's going to be a difficult game this weekend for City's youngsters, a real test," the former Republic of Ireland international told LCFC.com earlier this week.

"It's the league leaders coming to Leicester after a tough midweek fixture against Scunthorpe, a match where they played well for long spells.

"I’m sure Steve Beaglehole will be pleased to win on penalties and they'll be keen to use it as motivation for this game which, like I say, is a difficult one.

"I’m sure the players will be disappointed to have conceded so late in the last league game against Liverpool as well so they will be looking to get a clean sheet in this fixture."

Picking out a player to watch, St Ledger added: "I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing Josh Eppiah start.

"He has gradually gained minutes after a long spell out and he will add quality the Under-23s team."
