City's first away game of the 2020/21 FA Women's Championship season is a trip to face last season's runners-up, Sheffield United, at Proact Stadium on Sunday (2pm kick-off).

Defender Plumptre, who missed Sunday's 3-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers due to a tendon injury in her foot, is in contention to make the squad this weekend.

Morgan revealed that the 22-year-old is back in full training, alongside Ruesha Littlejohn, who came on as a 75th-minute substitute against Rovers.

The Republic of Ireland forward, a new signing from West Ham United, had suffered an Achilles injury earlier in the summer.

Littlejohn came on as a late substitute in the win over Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.

"Yes, good this week," Morgan told LCFC TV when asked about the squad's fitness earlier this week. "So Ashleigh Plumptre, she's now back in full training.

"Ruesha is in full training again. So, we're really delighted with that. We've got a couple of little minor problems, but nothing really major to report."

Elsewhere, forward Hannah Cain, who signed after leaving Women's Super League outfit Everton in the summer, remains the only absentee, unavailable due to a broken toe.

Morgan continued: "Obviously, Hannah, we're just waiting for her to come out from the long-term injury list.

"But to have the option to pick 22 out of the 23 is a brilliant feeling to be fair."

It is a busy period for the Foxes, and so having the majority of his squad available is a major boost for Morgan, with an FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester City - rescheduled from last season - also on the horizon.

"We're still not quite sure how that FA Cup looks yet with it obviously being last season's FA Cup, but it's Man City isn't it?

"No matter what happens, we're excited to play them and we just want to go out and give the best account of ourselves and just make it difficult for them."
