Leicester City's Under-18s suffered a 4-2 defeat by Norwich City at the Lotus Training Centre in the U18 Premier League South division on Saturday.

Following an opening day reverse against Aston Villa, the young Foxes travelled to East Anglia for their second successive away day of the 2020/21 campaign this weekend.

City found themselves 2-0 down early on in Norwich as Canaries youngster Thomas Dickson-Peters netted a brace of goals before the 11th minute.

Leicester hit back, though, through Welsh striker Will Russ, but their hopes of a comeback were short lived as Tony Springett and then Joe Duffy struck for the home side.

Ben Nelson got one back for the Club's Under-18s, however, and it ended 4-2 to leave Leicester in 12th place in the early U18 Premier League South standings.

Next up, on Saturday 3 October, the young Foxes travel to Bearwood Park Training Ground to tackle Reading in a 12pm BST kick-off in Berkshire.
