The first Premier League meeting between Leicester City and Brentford takes place on Sunday afternoon as the pair face off at Brentford Community Stadium (2pm kick-off).

The Foxes enter the fixture off the back of winning a 4-3 thriller against Spartak Moscow in the UEFA Europa League in midweek and also impressively triumphed in their previous league fixture – at home to Manchester United.

Brentford on the other hand, are enjoying a strong start to their maiden Premier League campaign, under the guidance of manager Thomas Frank, having collected 12 points from their opening eight games.

Ahead of Sunday’s encounter, find out everything you need to know about the game in the following guide...

What happened last time against Brentford?

James Maddison celebrates scoring during City's only previous visit to Brentford's new home in January 2021.

Leicester have travelled to face Brentford during the previous two seasons – both in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round.

The first of those ties was held at the Bees’ previous home of Griffin Park in January 2020, when a single Kelechi Iheanacho strike was enough to send Brendan Rodgers’ men into the next round.

A year later, the Foxes made their first-ever visit to Brentford Community Stadium and sealed a 3-1 success at the same stage of the 2020/21 competition, thanks to goals from Cengiz Ünder, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison.

How can I watch the game?
