Leicester City's Under-18s got back to winning ways in their final U18 Premier League South home fixture of the season, beating Aston Villa 2-1 at LCFC Training Ground.

Following successive defeats to West Bromwich Albion and Southampton, the young Foxes were back in Seagrave on Saturday for the visit of Villa. It was a tough start for the Club's youngsters too, as Ajani Burchall fired the visitors in front inside the opening three minutes.

City, though, remained resolute and, in the 70th minute, they were back on level terms as Amani Richards struck to make it 1-1. Not content with a point, Leicester continued to surge forwards and, just two minutes later, they were ahead as Richards teed up Logan Briggs to complete the comeback.

It's a result which keeps the young Foxes seventh in the U18 Premier League South standings on 44 points. They next face Fulham Under-18s away on Saturday (12pm BST kick-off) and could realistically climb as high as fourth in the final league table.
