Leicester City’s Under-18s got up and running in 2022/23 with an entertaining 2-2 draw at Norwich City on Saturday.

Facing the Canaries at Lotus Training Centre, the visitors went behind on 10 minutes, when Osman Foyo found the opening goal of the game.

Coach Adam Barradell may have feared the worst after successive defeats to Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, but the young Foxes responded within six minutes – Amani Richards providing the equaliser from Henry Cartwright’s set up.

Buoyed by scoring their first of the campaign, City took the lead shortly before the half-time break, with Reece Evans on target, assisted by Mirsad Ali.

Norwich came back strong in the second half, though, and levelled courtesy of Foyo with 18 minutes to play, ensuring both sides left with a point apiece.

Leicester remain 12th in the table after three fixtures, now level on points with Fulham, ahead of hosting the Cottagers at LCFC Training Ground on Saturday 17 September (12pm BST kick-off).
