Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell says he has spoken to Demarai Gray about their potential King Power Stadium debuts ahead of the Emirates FA Cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Chilwell and Gray forged a good partnership on the left wing at White Hart Lane in the 2-2 FA Cup Third Round draw on 13 January and they could again be deployed in the replay by Claudio Ranieri this evening.

It will be the first time Gray has played at King Power Stadium since joining from Birmingham City this month, while Chilwell has performed there for the Club’s Under-18s and Under-21s, but never at senior level.

Chilwell said: “For me and Demarai, if we get selected, obviously this will be the first time we’ll have played at King Power Stadium. We’re both looking forward to it and we’ve spoken about it too.

“I’ve told him about how good the crowd are at home and he’s looking forward to it. We’ve all helped Dimi (Demarai) settle in, he’s part of the squad now and he gets on with everyone.”

Chilwell has come on in leaps and bounds this season and went on to explain just how beneficial it has been for him to work with experienced left back Christian Fuchs.

He added: “He’s a player with vast experience who has captained his county and played a lot of football. He’s come into the Premier League now, done well and secured his place.

“He gives me a lot of advice with him being a senior left back and he also helps me with what positions to take up.

“I watch him during games to see things that I can be improving on that he’s doing. Obviously to be learning from someone with that much experience is going to help me.”
