Leicester City will face a Swansea City outfit ‘on the up’ at King Power Stadium on Saturday, says full back Ben Chilwell.

- Ben Chilwell provides his pre-match thoughts ahead of Swansea City's visit on Saturday
- The 19th placed Swans have defeated Liverpool and Arsenal in their last two games
- However, Chilwell says City approach every game with confidence
- Leicester's No.3 is optimistic of their chances of securing a 10th league victory this weekend

While the Foxes go into the fixture on the back of a 2-1 reverse at Everton, the Swans defeated Arsenal 3-1 at Liberty Stadium last time out in the Premier League.

However, Claude Puel’s men sit 11 points and 12 places above the south Wales side and, aside from their most recent outing, they have been in stellar form since the New Year.

“[Swansea] won their last two matches against good opposition so we know the threats they cause and we know they’re probably really confident at the moment,” Chilwell told LCFC TV.

They’ll definitely go into the game thinking they can get three points, but we think we can get three points as well, especially at home in front of our fans.

“They’re still low in the table and they’re struggling to stay in the league, so they’ll be hungry for that win again to keep their good run of form so they’re on the up.

“Like you say, we want to get the win, especially after the loss [on Wednesday].”

Swansea’s success over Arsenal was preceded by a 1-0 triumph against Liverpool and Chilwell says City must be wary of their visitors on Filbert Way this weekend.

“It’ll be good for them and their confidence going into the match after two wins,” he added.

“They’ll definitely go into the game thinking they can get three points, but we think we can get three points as well, especially at home in front of our fans.

“We’re very confident that we can beat them.”
