Chilwell has flourished over the past few seasons, playing successful roles for the Club’s Under-18s, Development Squad and first team.
The left back was part of the Under-18s side that became only the second in the Club’s history to reach the semi-finals of the prestigious FA Youth Cup in 2014/15.
Chilwell played a major role for the Development Squad throughout 2015 and 2016, as well as spending time on loan at Huddersfield Town.
He made his first team debut for Leicester against Hull City in the League Cup back in October 2015, before two FA Cup appearances followed against Tottenham Hotspur in January 2016.
Chilwell signed a new five-year deal with the Club in the summer of 2016 before 19 appearances for the Club followed in the 2016/17 term.
Playing against high-calibre outfits including FC Porto, Chelsea, Atlético Madrid and Manchester City will have no doubt been beneficial for the defender, who continued his rapid development at the Club in 2017/18.
It proved to be a breakthrough campaign for Chilwell, who made 32 appearances in all competitions, including 24 in the Premier League.
After a superb start to the 2018/19 season, meanwhile, Chilwell was called up to the England squad by Gareth Southgate, making his senior debut in a 1-0 win over Switzerland at Leicester's King Power Stadium.
His first start for the Three Lions followed swiftly, as he helped his country to a 0-0 draw with World Cup finalists Croatia in the UEFA Nations League in October 2018.
Following another international appearance in England's famous Nations League success in Spain, Chilwell agreed a new long-term contract with the Club until 2024.
"This is a massive part of my life, I’ve been at this club since I was 12-years-old," he said.
“To sign a new contract here is very pleasing for myself and I’m very excited about the future... it's an amazing feeling."
