Adrien Silva believes Leicester City must continue to build on their performances if they are to finish as high as possible in the Premier League table this term.

- Leicester City are aiming to improve in every game, says midfielder Adrien Silva
- Silva has called for concentration as the Foxes attempt to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to five fixtures
- Claude Puel’s men face Newcastle United at King Power Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off)

The Portugal international midfielder says the Foxes will settle for nothing less than a triumph this Saturday, when they host Newcastle United at King Power Stadium.

With City just three points behind Burnley in seventh position, Silva wants his side to remain focused as they go in search of a third-straight win in the Premier League.

Speaking to LCFC TV, he said: “We want to get three points from every game because we want to go up in the table.

“We are not satisfied with where we are and we want to improve every game. It’s the mentality that we have to keep going.

“Like the rest of the teams in the league, every game is very intense. There is no easy game. We have to be very focused on our task."

Silva believes competition in midfield is highly beneficial and while that is a relatively new experience for him, he will continue his push for regular involvement in Claude Puel’s starting XI.

He added: “In the last years I didn’t have this competition so it’s a bit different but it’s better for us as players to get better and give 100 per cent or more.

“There is so much competition in this position. We have to give more and more every day to push ourselves and that makes you better.”
