Wilfred Ndidi made his first appearance since late April on Wednesday afternoon, as Nigeria continued their preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

- Wilfred Ndidi returns from a hamstring injury to complete 90 minutes in Nigeria’s friendly clash with the Czech Republic
- Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa also featured for the Super Eagles
- Hamza Choudhury emerged from the bench to help England Under-21s book a spot in the Toulon Tournament Final
- Four Foxes could be in action on Thursday evening

Ndidi, 21, picked up a hamstring injury against Crystal Palace, forcing him to miss the remaining three fixtures of Leicester City’s 2017/18 Premier League campaign.

However, the talented midfielder’s hopes of representing the Super Eagles in Russia were handed a huge boost after he completed 90 minutes during the 1-0 friendly loss to Czech Republic.

Forwards Ahmed Musa and Kelechi Iheanacho were both introduced with around 10 minutes to play, but Tomas Kalas’ first-half effort proved to be enough for Karel Jarolím’s men to win the game.

Jamie Vardy scored for England in the 2016 European Championships against Wales.

Meanwhile, Academy graduate Hamza Choudhury, who made his Premier League debut for the Club in 2017/18, came off the bench to help England Under-21s advance to the final of the Toulon Tournament.

Everton’s Callum Connolly replied to Michael Johnston’s early effort before Arsenal forward Edward Nketiah bagged a brace to defeat Scotland Under-21s 1-3 in France.

On Thursday, Adrien Silva and Ricardo Pereira could come face-to-face with Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani when Algeria head to Estadio da Luz to take on Portugal.

On the same evening, Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire will hope to feature for England at Elland Road against Costa Rica – the Three Lions’ final warm-up fixture ahead of the World Cup.
