Youngsters Sam Hughes, Josh Knight, Josh Eppiah, Daniel Iversen, Layton Ndukwu and Max Bramley joined Under-23s manager Steve Beaglehole as part of the first team group in Évian-les-Bains last week to further their education in senior football.
Now they are back in the East Midlands, many could feature for the Foxes in a pre-season friendly against the Cherries on Tuesday, while those who remained in England will also hope to impress ahead of the 2018/19 Premier League 2 Division 1 campaign.
Later this month, meanwhile, a full Premier League 2 fixture list will also be confirmed, alongside schedules for the Premier League Cup and the Checkatrade Trophy.
On Monday, City were drawn in Group B of the Premier League International Cup, where they will come up against Reading, Sparta Prague and Feyenoord.
