The fixture against Sean Dyche’s side will be City’s first home match since the Club’s Chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, tragically lost his life alongside four other people on Saturday 27 October.
Before kick-off, supporters are planning to pay tribute to Khun Vichai, a man who was instrumental in developing the Club into one which was able to lift the Premier League title in 2016.
Following a 1-0 success over Cardiff City last weekend, the Foxes will return to King Power Stadium and Morgan, the Club’s captain, says everyone is determined to perform to the best of their ability.
“It’s going to be tough as it’s the first home game back and because of the circumstances of how it all happened, it’s going to be very tough, but we’ll have to keep our emotions together.
“We know the Club’s making a big deal of the day and we want to make sure everything goes according to plan, so it isn’t going to be easy.
“There’s a lot of activity surrounding the match and we need to focus on the game and perform.”
Claude Puel’s side have been in training at Belvoir Drive since returning from Khun Vichai’s funeral in Thailand earlier this week – something Morgan says was important for all of the players.
“It’s been very emotional,” he added. “Obviously everyone knows about what happened and it’s been hard on the lads, the staff and everyone involved with Leicester City.
“It’s been really tough, but we have tried to stay as focused as we can be.
“We wanted to perform in the Cardiff game and we wanted to play, so it was tough, but we had to try and hold our emotions in and focus on that game.”
Finally, Morgan praised the efforts of everyone at the Club for the manner in which they’ve handled the circumstance of the past fortnight.
“It’s been great,” he continued. “The Club has never dealt with something of this magnitude before, so it’s difficult to know how to cope in these circumstances, but everything has been spot on.
“Everything has gone correctly and everything has been done with the upmost respect in Khun Vichai’s memory and his legacy will carry on.”
