Play On provides one-to-one mentoring and wellbeing support for young people aged 10–17 who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing concerns.
Delivered in partnership with local CAMHS services, the programme offers early intervention support designed to help young people build confidence, strengthen social connections and improve their overall wellbeing.
Through regular mentoring sessions, participants receive personalised support tailored to their individual needs. The programme is complemented by a range of social activities and enrichment opportunities, helping young people develop new experiences, build resilience and engage positively with their communities.
Play On is particularly focused on supporting young people who may face additional barriers, including those from ethnically diverse communities, low-income households, young carers, looked after children and young people from military families.
By providing consistent support at an early stage, the programme aims to enhance wellbeing, reduce social isolation and help young people develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive.
