The Play On programme provides one-to-one mentoring sessions, supported by local CAMHS, that aim to support young people with mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing concerns.
Combined with social activities and enrichment opportunities, it supports young people aged 10-17 who present mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing concerns. The programme aims to:
Support young people from ethnically diverse communities, low socio-economic groups, young carers, looked after children, and children from military families.
Provide early intervention support through weekly mentoring sessions with the aim of
enhancing wellbeing, creating and enhancing social connections, and reduce the likelihood of CAMHS involvement.
