We’ve taken a closer look at some of the most impressive stats from a season which saw LCFC Women hit new heights in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

This summer will see us prepare for a fifth consecutive season in the top flight since our Barclays Women’s Championship title-winning campaign.
But aside from securing safety once again, City hit some new heights and broke several records in Amandine Miquel’s first season in charge.
Hitting twenty points
We hit a record high during the season finale.
We hit a record high during the season finale.
Our steady progress of the team continued this term, as we hit a record-high points tally of 20; beating our previous record of 18, which we achieved in the 23/24 season.
Starting off with a draw at Liverpool, it took until late October to get our first win, a narrow 1-0 success over Everton.
Miquel’s arrival from Stade de Reims wasn’t an easy one, as she quickly had to adapt with an ever-growing injury list, particularly in the attack where last season’s top scorer Jutta Rantala and new signing Noémie Mouchon couldn’t make it past the fourth league game of the year.
However, the Foxes rallied in the New Year, quickly adding win after win on the way to a record high which was confirmed on the final day with a 4-2 success over West Ham United – 20 points was achieved.
Building a fortress on Filbert Way
Going five months unbeaten at home.
Going five months unbeaten at home.
We recorded five wins throughout the season, another record to add to the books, and in impressive style, all five victories came on home soil.
Accompanied with two draws, that means Leicester were only beaten four times at King Power Stadium, and only once to a team outside of the top four.
Our dominance at home led to an impressive unbeaten run which spanned 161 days, from 17 November, 2024 to 27 April.
Included in that run, we took our first-ever point off the six-time consecutive champions, Chelsea; not entirely relevant to our story – we just wanted to mention it again.
From the Academy to the WSL
A strong future ahead.
A strong future ahead.
Throughout the 24/25 season, three Academy players made their senior debuts – Nelly Las, Simone Sherwood and Sammy Kaczmar; making 25 appearances between them.
Las herself became the youngest player to feature in the season at the age of 16 years, 9 months and 16 days. A record that placed her as the second-youngest LCFC Women player of all time, behind Ava Baker.
At the other end of the scale, Janice Cayman continues to break her own record as the oldest player to enter the field for LCFC Women at the age of 36.
Flying the flag for their countries

Our success was recognised not just on the pitch in a Leicester shirt, but around the globe, as our international reputation grew.
From the United Kingdom, across Europe to East Asia and beyond, our team was filled with 16 different nationalities throughout the campaign, and we had goalscorers from seven different nations in all competitions.
This season also saw one of our own don the England shirt for the first time and represent the Lionesses, when Ruby Mace was called up by Sarina Wiegman in November.
The accomplishment was well celebrated throughout the city, producing a proud moment for both the Club and midfielder; yet another record to add as this chapter comes to a close.
