The South American outfit were 3-0 winners in the first match of Group E, as goals from Roman Davis, Dioner Fuenttes and Eder Barrios settled the contest.
Page, though, played 88 minutes for the Young Lions as his promising 25/26 campaign continues, after making his Leicester City senior debut earlier this term.
Jake Evans was not involved for England’s youngsters, but will be hoping to make his U17 World Cup bow against Haiti on Friday, a 12:30pm kick-off.
Elsewhere, fellow young Fox Will Daniels could feature during the tournament for Canada, who start their own campaign against Uganda on Wednesday (3:45pm kick-off).
