Joining our goalkeeping ranks in the summer, Franco signed from Blackpool on a three-year deal, adding further experience having previously made 99 career appearances for the likes of Eastbourne Borough, MK Dons and Wycombe Wanderers. Born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Franco started out with Independiente and Quilmes before joining the youth system at River Plate.
