The experienced midfielder joined on a free transfer on transfer deadline day following his departure from Turkish Süper Lig side Trabzonspor. Arriving with over 500 senior appearances to his name, John’s career includes four promotions, domestic honours in Scotland and experience in the Premier League, Championship and Europe. On loan at Hull City in 25/26 as the Tigers won the play-offs, he featured 34 times.
