The first signing of 2026, Emma Jansson signed for the Foxes on a two-and-a-half year contract from Damallsvenskan side FC Rosengård. She joins following a productive spell with FC Rosengård where she played a key role in securing two league titles in 2022 and 2024. A former Swedish youth international, Emma began her career with Hammarby IF in 2012 before making the move to Eskilstuna side Eskilstuna United DFF. A brief spell with KIF Örebro DFF followed before a second stint with Hammarby IF in 2018. A versatile operator capable of playing in both midfield and defence, Emma has excelled in a number of positions across the pitch, notably in attacking midfield and in central defence.
