Sheffield-born Tierney became the first LCFC Women player to hit 100 appearances and remains the all-time top appearance maker. A versatile individual who has played from centre-half to attacking midfield, she was part of the Barclays Women’s Championship title-winning side.

The Sheffield native, born on 8 October 1998, is an former England youth international from Under-15s to Under-21s level.
 
During her maiden season with the Foxes, Tierney was an almost ever-present at centre-back as LCFC Women won promotion from the Barclays Women's Championship for the very first time.
 
She opened her account for the Club, with a brace of goals to secure a 2-0 win at Durham in March 2021, before scoring the goal that helped seal the title against London City Lionesses a month later. 
 
Missing just one WSL fixture in 2021/22, the versatile defender scored her first goal of the season in the home victory over Birmingham City in December 2021 - LCFC Women's maiden top-flight win. 
 
A mainstay in the City side, having transitioned into central midfield in recent times, Tierney made her 100th appearance in the 24/25 campaign, becoming the first Leicester women’s player to do so.
