Defender Yohan Benalouane signed a four-year deal with Leicester City in August 2015.
The centre back arrived from Serie A side Atalanta for an undisclosed fee to add some healthy competition to City's defensive line, making his debut against Sunderland.
Standing at 6ft 2ins, Benalouane is blessed with both pace and power alongside a composure on the ball that should make him a good fit for the challenges of Premier League football.
A former France Under-21 international, Yohan has since opted to represent Tunisia at international level and arrives with an impressive track record at club level in both Italy and France.
After coming through the ranks at French side Saint-Etienne, Benalouane’s performances in Ligue 1 earned him a move to Italy in 2010, when he signed for newly promoted Cesena in Serie A.
Two solid seasons for the Italian outfit earned him another move to Parma, initially on loan in the summer of 2012. After helping lift his team to a 10th placed finish in 2012/13, he joined Atalanta on loan in January 2014 before making that deal permanent at the end of the season.
In 2014/15 Benalouane’s performances at the heart of Atalanta’s defence provided a solid foundation for a campaign that saw the Italian side amass 37 point total en route to securing Serie A survival in impressive fashion.
His first season at the Foxes yielded nine appearances, while during the 2016/17 campaign, his stand-in peformances helped his side secure their top-flight status.
After playing five times for City in 2017/18, he secured a spot in Tunisia's 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup having made his international debut earlier that year.
