Since making his senior debut for the Football Club in October 2015, Chilwell’s career has gone from strength to strength, becoming a key figure for Brendan Rodgers' youthful Foxes outfit.
Having played successful roles for the Club’s Under-18s and Development Squad, Chilwell’s breakthrough year in the first team came in 2017/18 and he has since transformed into one of the most well-rounded full backs in the Premier League.
Prior to establishing himself as a regular for both club and country, the left-back was part of the Under-18s side that became only the second in Leicester City history to reach the semi-finals of the prestigious FA Youth Cup in 2014/15.
Chilwell played a major role for the Development Squad throughout 2015 and 2016, as well as spending time on loan at Huddersfield Town, as David Wagner began to turn the Terries into promotion candidates.
He made his first team debut for Leicester against Hull City in the Carabao Cup in October 2015 before two Emirates FA Cup appearances followed against Tottenham Hotspur in January 2016.
'Chilly' went on to also play against high-calibre outfits including FC Porto and Atlético Madrid in the UEFA Champions League as he continued his rapid development at the Club in 2016/17.
In 2017/18, meanwhile, Chilwell made 32 appearances in all competitions, including 24 in the Premier League as he gradually began to cement a place in Leicester's starting XI.
After a superb start to the 2018/19 season, he was called up to the England squad by Gareth Southgate, making his senior debut in a 1-0 win over Switzerland at Leicester's King Power Stadium.
His first start for the Three Lions followed swiftly, as he helped his country to a 0-0 away draw with World Cup finalists Croatia in the UEFA Nations League in October 2018.
Following another international appearance in England's brilliant Nations League success over Spain in Seville, Chilwell agreed a new long-term contract with the Foxes until 2024.
Chilwell featured in all but two of City's Premier League fixtures over the 2018/19 campaign, earning a reputation as an exciting prospect with the potential to excel yet further over coming seasons.
He was once again called up to Southgate's Three Lions squad for the inaugural UEFA Nations League Finals in June 2019, starting in the semi-finals stage against the Netherlands.
In 2019/20, on the other hand, Chilwell's standing grew yet further as a key part of Rodgers' transformed Foxes side, while he also scored the opener in a record-breaking 9-0 win at Southampton in October.
In June 2019, meanwhile, Chilwell netted the Foxes' first goal of the Premier League's summer restart, due to COVID-19, a late stunner in a 1-1 draw with Watford behind closed doors at Vicarage Road.
