Born in January 2003, Ewing began his career in the capital with Fulham before joining Leicester City and linking up with the Club’s Under-18s, making his Foxes debut in January 2019.
From that point onwards, Ewing impressed on several occasions, becoming a regular starter in U18 Premier League across 2019/20, as well as appearing in the FA Youth Cup.
The following season saw the central midfielder begin his transition into the Development Squad, getting some minutes under his belt in Premier League 2 Division 1, which provided a valuable head-start ahead of his increased involvement with the Club’s Under-21s.
In 2021/22, meanwhile, the Welshman made 16 league appearances, providing two assists, and was named on the first team bench for two European ties. Ewing played from start to finish in 10 consecutive PL2 matches, outlining his importance to the side.
His impressive development continued at the start of 2022/23, sparking up a partnership with Sammy Braybrooke in the middle of the park over the course of the first five PL2 matches, before injury cut short his involvement in the rest of the campaign.
