An England youth international, currently playing for the Young Lions' Under-19s side after making his debut in September 2022, Pennant has carved out a reputation for possessing an array of skills and a fearsome striking ability.
Beginning his Leicester career by netting four goals across three games in the 2019/20 U18 Premier League campaign, the following season brought Pennant's first involvement for the Under-21s.
Debuting in a draw with Brighton & Hove Albion Under-21s in February 2021, he made one further Premier League 2 Division 1 appearance, while continuing to make a mark for the Under-18s with seven goals and one assist in 25 outings.
The forward's performances were then key during 2021/22 as City's youngsters reached the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup and the U18 Premier League Cup's last-four, although injury prevented him from continuing a fine season that brought nine goals and four assists across 13 matches in all competitions, as well as two more PL2 appearances.
Returning for 2022/23, the attacker now solely represents the Development Squad and netted his first PL2 goal against Liverpool in February 2023.
