Capped at Under-17s, Under-19s and Under-23s level by England, the former Everton goalkeeper won the FA WSL 2 Spring Series with the Toffees in 2017.

After arriving in the summer of 2020, Levell quickly become an integral member of LCFC Women's squad, making essentials saves when needed, while also being an authoritative figure for defenders at the back.

Her first clean sheet in 2020/21 came on debut as the Foxes enjoyed a 3-0 success over Blackburn Rovers at Farley Way Stadium on the opening day of the season and she would go on to keep 10 shutouts to help City claim the Barclays Women's Championship title.

Those 10 clean sheets also earned Levell a share of the Women's Championship Golden Glove, alongside Sheffield United's Fran Kitching and Durham's Megan Borthwick.

During the Club's historic first run to the semi-finals of the Continental Tyres League Cup, meanwhile, the Liverpool-born stopper also saved a penalty from Mollie Green at WSL side Birmingham City as City emerged through the group stages as group winners.

Levell was the only Foxes player to start every league fixture in 2020/21, as well as playing in all of City's League Cup matches.

She signed a new contract on 8 July, 2021 to remain a Leicester City player for the Club's first foray into the top-flight and quickly impressed upon her return to the WSL, nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Month award in October.

A knee injury picked up in November then ruled her out for the remainder of the season, but Levell came back to don the gloves once more from the start of 2022/23.
