The Sheffield native, born on 8 October 1998, is an England youth international from Under-15s to Under-21s level.
During her maiden season with the Foxes, Tierney was an almost ever-present at centre-back as LCFC Women won promotion from the Barclays Women's Championship for the very first time.
Defensively sound and a threat in attacking areas, the former Sheffield United defender also provides valuable experience to the ranks and is a vocal figure on the pitch for City.
She opened her account for the Club, meanwhile, with a brace of goals to secure a 2-0 win at Durham in March 2021, before scoring the goal that helped seal the title against London City Lionesses a month later.
In July 2021, Tierney agreed a contract extension to remain with Leicester City for their first season in the top division of English women's football.
Missing just one WSL fixture in 2021/22, the versatile defender scored her first goal of the season in the home victory over Birmingham City in December 2021 - LCFC Women's maiden top-flight win.
