Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Bott began her career with local outfits Tawa AFC, Lynn-Avon United and Waterside Karori before making a move to Europe.
The defender's senior career took her to Germany and Bundesliga side FF USV, where the defender made 15 appearances in the German top flight.
In 2018, the full-back made another career move and joined Scandinavian side Vittsjö GIK in Sweden. A move east beckoned one year later when Bott joined Toppserien outfit Vålerenga in 2020.
Her Foxes debut came just two days after being confirmed as a LCFC Women player, being introduced as a substitute during the second half of Leicester's defeat at Manchester United.
The right-back's full debut, meanwhile, arrived in the opening Continental Tyres League Cup fixture of 2022/23, a 3-0 win away to Blackburn Rovers on 2 October, 2022.
On the international stage, Bott's senior debut for New Zealand arrived in March 2014, making her first appearance for the Football Ferns before also competing in the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women's World Cups in Canada and France respectively. Her first goal, meanwhile, came in the 2019 Cup of Nations.
Leaving Norway at the back end of 2021, the defender’s first competitive football this calendar year was playing internationally for the Football Ferns, starting all three of their She Believes Cup group stage fixtures against Iceland, USA and Czech Republic in February.
