The Youth Employability Hub supports young people aged 16–24 who are not currently in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them build confidence, develop employability skills and take positive steps towards their future.
Delivered in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Leicester City Council, the Hub provides a welcoming and accessible space at King Power Stadium where participants can access personalised support tailored to their individual needs and aspirations.
Through one-to-one mentoring, employability workshops, CV and interview support, skills-based training and access to local employers and training providers, participants are supported to overcome barriers and progress towards education, training or employment opportunities.
The Youth Employability Hub brings together a range of organisations and support services to provide a joined-up approach that helps young people access the guidance, skills and opportunities they need to succeed.
The Hub is open Monday to Wednesday, 10am–4pm, and is available to eligible young people aged 16–24. Referrals can be made through self-referral, DWP work coaches, youth services, support agencies and partner organisations.
