Moore Ready To Tackle Man City

A spot in the final four for the first time since 2000 is at stake, and although Moore is aware City will be battling against the odds, he is determined to give his all on the night.

The match comes during a massive week for the Foxes, who having drawn 1-1 with Burnley at King Power Stadium on Saturday, also face the prospect of travelling to league leaders Queens Park Rangers after their Man City clash.

But the City defender is not daunted by the prospect, and can’t wait to get going against Manuel Pellegrini’s title-chasing side.

“We’ve got to see it as another game and if you’re not involved then you can’t get too down because you might get thrown in again on Saturday,” Moore told Foxes Player.

“It’s a great fixture for the fans and a great fixture on Tuesday before another Sky game at Queens Park Rangers. These are what players look forward to – two top of the league clashes and a massive cup draw.

“We’re definitely not going into the game thinking that we’re not going to get anything from it.

“You saw the commitment of the players [against Burnley] going forward and defending, that will be 100% the same on Tuesday.

“We’ll give them everything we’ve got. If they bring their ‘A’ game and we do and they manage to win the game then we’ll hold our hands up but me personally, if I play then I’ll be giving nothing less than 100%.

“I thoroughly believe we can beat them.”
