Marc Albrighton says the roar of the Leicester City fans when the team are behind has helped to instil even more belief within the squad.

For the fifth time this season the Foxes recovered from going behind to secure Barclays Premier League points, as they fought back from a 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2 away at Southampton on Saturday.

And according to the winger, that never-say-die attitude is spreading from the terraces, throughout the squad and the entire Club – a testament to the brilliant support the Foxes have received both at home and on the road.

While clean sheets haven’t been forthcoming so far this term as the Foxes continue their swashbuckling attacking style, Albrighton admits that the ability to be resilient is not a bad trait to have.

<div ><br /><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“I think it’s just the spirit and the character of the lads in the dressing room,” he told Foxes Player HD as he attempted to explain the Southampton comeback. “That never-say-die attitude is coming in handy in a lot of games that we’re playing this year. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“That’s not only on the pitch, but with the lads that we’ve got on the side-lines and the lads that are not travelling. Everyone from the staff to the fans, they all seem to have that attitude and it definitely helps you.” </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Recovering a two-goal deficit is never easy, but Albrighton knows the team can always bank on the supporters to give them a timely reminder of what they’re capable of. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">He added: “I don’t think the belief is ever not there. We know that we’ve got the support of the travelling fans. It was the same at Stoke. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“We came out in the second half being 2-0 down and you can hear them roaring you on as you’re running onto the pitch. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“For them to have that belief and to have that belief from your supporters, it breeds confidence through the team. Our belief is there for all to see and we have managed to do it (come back) on a regular basis. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“[Against Southampton] I think we started well. We had a couple of chances early on and they hit us with a sucker punch from a set play that we were disappointed to have conceded because we’ve been working on our set plays. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">“Obviously it was disappointing but I still think that we had chances in the first half to score goals. Obviously there was Huthy’s (Robert Huth’s) just before half time and I think Vards (Jamie Vardy) had a couple. </div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></div><div><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">“Like I say we didn’t play too badly but coming out in the second half, we knew that if we got one goal we’d quieten the crowd a bit and put them under pressure.”</span></span></div><div><a href="http://www.player.lcfc.com" target="_blank"><img xlink:href="tcm:0-2692753" title="PlayerHD2015_Banner" alt="PlayerHD2015_Banner" style="width: 480px; height: 100px;" /></a><br /></div></div>
