Ritchie De Laet was on hand to share some wisdom this week as LCFC Community Trust’s football courses continued with local youngsters in Lutterworth.

The Belgian right-back was in manager Claudio Ranieri’s first Leicester City starting XI last weekend for the 4-2 victory over Sunderland at King Power Stadium and received a warm welcome from the young fans.

Attendance from the youngsters was at capacity at the Lutterworth Soccer Centre on Hall Lane, and they certainly made the most of their time with De Laet, who alongside joining in a coaching session, also take part in a Q&A.

The courses are a great opportunity for youngsters to perfect their footballing techniques such as heading, shooting, dribbling and passing, as well as giving them the chance to have fun with new friends.

The afternoon concluded with Leicester City mascot Filbert Fox and the youngsters going head-to-head with De Laet for an entertaining penalty shootout.
