Leicester City’s Development Squad have been handed a trip to Blackburn Rovers in the U21 Premier League Cup’s Round of 16 stage.
The Foxes head to Lancashire having beaten Stoke City 5-2 in the round of 32 stage at the Britannia Stadium in November thanks to a double from Michael Cain and strikes from Joe Dodoo, Leonardo Ulloa and Harry Panayiotou.
Meanwhile, Blackburn set up a tie against Steve Beaglehole’s outfit with a 3-1 extra-time win against Burnley on 9 November.
A date and venue for the tie will be confirmed on LCFC.com in due course.
