James: Points On The Board

Midfielder Matty James insists that Leicester City are under no illusions about the size of the challenge they face to secure their Barclays Premier League survival this season.
A 0-0 draw at home to Hull City last time out left the total gap between the Foxes and safety at seven points, including a game in hand on teams around them, but with 10 games remaining, time is running out.

That puts huge importance on the weekend’s trip to White Hart Lane to face Champions League chasing Tottenham Hotspur. The Foxes have already beaten Spurs on their patch in the FA Cup, but three points on Saturday would be even more valuable to them.

“We all know the current situation that we’re in,” James told Foxes Player. “We’ve got to start putting points on the board.

“We’ve got some good games coming up at home and we’ve got to try and take as many points as we can from those games.

"We’ve got to nick a few points away form home too. If we keep creating chances then hopefully we can stick a couple of them away.

“If we can get one win then it might set us up for another win and hopefully we can put a run together towards the end of the season.”
