Young Leicester City striker Harry Panayiotou has joined Scottish Championship outfit Raith Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

Having scored on his first team debut for the Club in 2012, Panayiotou has been heavily involved for the Development Squad over the past few seasons.

He lit up the Barclays U21 Premier League last campaign, earning March’s Player of the Month award after a stunning goalscoring spell for the Foxes, while also becoming the first Leicester City player ever to score an international hat-trick.

The 21-year-old St. Kitts and Nevis forward now heads to Scotland in the hope of helping Raith maintain their push for promotion to the Scottish Premiership.

Ray McKinnon’s men currently sit fourth in the Scottish Championship and next face Queen of the South at Stark’s Park on Saturday 30 January – a game Panayiotou could potentially be involved in subject to clearance.
