After falling to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United in the Continental Tyres League Cup on Thursday evening, City head home for the first time in a month for WSL action against bottom of the table West Ham.

New Zealand international Bott will be out with a calf injury picked up early on in Leicester's last league match at Brighton & Hove Albion, while midfielder Palmer will rejoin the squad having served her one match suspension.

“CJ Bott will not feature this weekend,” Kirk stated ahead of Sunday's game. “We’ve got what we had against Man Utd plus Aimee Palmer who will return from suspension.

“It’s good to get another body in there and obviously we had Jutta Rantala and Lena Petermann on the bench on Thursday so that gave them a bit of a rest before coming back in.

“We’re looking forward to the game and want to finish as high up the table as possible heading into the Christmas break.”
