- LCFC Women face Manchester City on Sunday afternoon- Leicester will be without Josie Green, who is suspended- There are no new injury concerns, says Manager Willie Kirk

As Leicester work towards a Barclays Women's Super League clash with Man City on Sunday afternoon (1pm GMT kick-off), the Manager shared an update on his squad during Thursday's press conference at Belvoir Drive.

Welsh international Green will be sidelined having picked up a fifth booking of the campaign in the first half of last week's 1-0 win over Everton at Walton Hall Park.

"Josie Green is suspended after her fifth yellow card," Kirk revealed. "This is a shame as she's been playing well in the New Year. She's been making that centre-back spot her own, but we've got a squad to deal with this now following a successful window."

The Manager also referenced **Deanne Rose'**s progression in the team since returning from injury in 2024, and confirmed there are no fresh concerns in camp, leaving Hannah Cain as the only other omission from the team.

Kirk added: "Injury wise there's nothing new to report on. Deanne [Rose] is building up her minutes, and we had one pull out of training today but that's only a precaution, so I expect her to be fine come matchday."
