Pérez's first-half strike, followed by a second goal of the season from Gray, wrapped up all three points for Brendan Rodgers' men at King Power Stadium, against an in-form Sheffield United side.

Pre-match
City went into the game looking to bounce back from Sunday's defeat at AFC Bournemouth and there was plenty of online encouragement to will the players on as they prepared to take to the pitch at King Power Stadium. 
The game itself
Full-back Luke Thomas, who was making his first team debut, assisted the opening goal, much to the delight of the watching Blue Army, several of whom featured in videos on the Club's official Twitter page. 
In the second-half, substitute Demarai Gray got on the end of Jamie Vardy's cross, finishing off a neat City move and sealing all three points for the Foxes.
