- Elliott Moore features as OH Leuven continue their push for promotion with a 2-1 win against Westerlo- Leuven now sit second in the Belgian Proximus League, two points off top- Callum Elder played 90 minutes for Wigan Athletic in their 2-1 triumph at Scunthorpe United
With Bartosz Kapustka, Papy Mendy and Harvey Barnes not in club action due to the international break, Moore and Elder led the way on the loan front for the Foxes.
Centre back Moore remains a favourite at Belgian club OH Leuven, as he completed the full 90 minutes in their late 2-1 victory over Westerlo on Sunday.
Nigel Pearson’s men recorded their third-straight Proximus League triumph thanks to Esteban Casagolda’s 90th-minute strike at King Power @ Den Dreef Stadium.
Leuven now sit second in the table, just two points off leaders Beerschot Wilrijk, and next face a trip to bottom side Tubize on Friday 13 October.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, left back Elder made his sixth appearance for Wigan Athletic in their 2-1 win at Scunthorpe United.
Despite playing with 10 men for the majority of the second period after taking the lead through Dan Burns, the Latics doubled their advantage through former Fox Nick Powell with just over 15 minutes to play.
Funso Ojo pulled one back late on for Scunthorpe, but Wigan held on to maintain a two-point gap to table toppers Shrewsbury Town.
Elder could next be involved on Saturday, when Paul Cook’s men host Southend United at the DW Stadium.
