The former Leicester City striker – also an ex-England international – won promotion to the Premier League with the Foxes in 2014, also starring under Nigel Pearson's management in the Premier League.
Originally signed by Sven-Göran Eriksson at King Power Stadium, Nugent joined the Club from Portsmouth where, in 2008, the Merseyside-born forward won the FA Cup. He also scored for England on his one appearance for the Three Lions.
