- Fantasy Premier League prices have been announced prior to the 2021/22 campaign getting underway- Leicester City’s most expensive FPL player is once again forward Jamie Vardy after scoring 187 points in 2020/21- You can have up to three Foxes in your team and compete against family, friends and other fans when the season begins- City kick off 2021/22 with a home fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers at King Power Stadium on Saturday 14 August

With the new Premier League campaign fast approaching, the eagerly-anticipated 2021/22 Fantasy Premier League is soon to be released.

You will be able to pick the likes of Jamie Vardy, James Maddison, Kelechi Iheanacho and Kasper Schmeichel ahead of Gameweek 1 - which sees City tackle Wolverhampton Wanderers at King Power Stadium on Saturday 14 August (3pm BST kick-off).

New signings Patson Daka, Boubakary Soumaré and Ryan Bertrand, on the other hand, have recently been added to Fantasy Premier League too.

The game is free to play with each player given £100M to spend on their side before entering leagues to take on friends, family and other Foxes fans.

Vardy, who scored 15 Premier League and assisted nine more in 2020/21, is once again City’s most expensive player at £10.5M. The 34-year-old was the Foxes’ highest points-scorer on FPL last season with 187 points.

He was followed by creative attacker Maddison, who scored 133 points across the campaign, despite missing several games through injury. The England international is available for £7M and is the joint-most expensive Foxes midfielder.

Players’ Player of the Season and Supporters’ Player of the Season Youri Tielemans also racked up an impressive 133 points and the Belgium star can be purchased on FPL for £6.5M.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho, Schmeichel, Harvey Barnes, Jonny Evans and James Justin were the other City players to reach a century of points in 2020/21.

There could also be some bargains to be had with young defenders Wesley Fofana and Luke Thomas both priced at £4.5M after impressive debut seasons as regular starters for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
