Leicester City Women’s break in WSL action this weekend opens the window for an exclusive appearance by members of the squad in the Foxes Fanstore, with ‘keeper Janina Leitzig plus midfielders Sam Tierney, Aimee Palmer and Aileen Whelan set to meet fans on Filbert Way prior to England’s encounter with Belgium in the East Midlands. Friday’s sold-out clash will be the first time the Lionesses have played in Leicester since a 1-1 draw against Sweden in September 1980, and ticket holders can now look forward to an added layer of excitement on matchday with a chance to meet our players on offer!
If this wasn’t enough, fans in attendance also have a chance to win a variety of LCFC Women prizes including signed shirts, signed footballs and pairs of LCFC Women hospitality tickets, match tickets and Season Tickets. Entry to these competitions will be available by completing digital forms with the Club’s event staff on the brickweave, while fans can also enter by scanning the QR codes on the big screens inside the Foxes Fanstore and in-bowl during the game.
Supporters are urged to factor additional travel times to their journeys on matchday with various roadworks still in place within the surrounding areas, with the Foxes Fanstore the perfect setting to pass the time ahead of kick-off.
