Leitzig – who played a pivotal part in City’s 1-0 away win over Liverpool – receives her nomination having excelled between the sticks for the Foxes during February.

Before the win on Merseyside, Janina set the record for the most saves in a Barclays Women’s Super League contest during the Foxes' clash with Manchester City. The shot-stopper faced 18 shots at goal, only succumbing to two world-class strikes.
