The Foxes' 10th outing of 2021 sees them face a Seagulls outfit who are unbeaten six games, a run of form which includes Premier League victories over Tottenham Hotspur and champions Liverpool.

Supporters based in the United Kingdom can find coverage of the fixture on BT Sport 2 from 7pm.

Who's starring on LCFC TV?

Ninety minutes before kick-off, from 6pm, Matchday Live goes to air, with presenter Dan Bates being joined by former Foxes Matt Elliott and Dean Hammond, while Gerry Taggart will be positioned in the press box, ready to provide live commentary.

Live commentary begins at approximately 7:20pm on LCFC Radio and can be accessed on the dedicated LCFC.com Match Centre, before half-an-hour of reaction and analysis from Elliott, Hammond and Taggart.

What's the officiating team?

The man in the middle on Wednesday will be Mike Dean, assisted by Darren Cann and Timothy Wood, while the fourth official is Simon Hooper.

What's the injury news?

On Jamie Vardy's condition after a minor hernia operation last month, Brendan Rodgers said on Monday: "Wednesday is a big game for us. He hasn’t lost too much fitness, that’s the reality of it. It’s only a couple of weeks which he’s been out. He’s got a great level of fitness.

"He’d obviously had the 10 days out, he’d trained a bit with the team, and then we gave him the half-hour (at Wolves). You can see what he brings to the team. We’ll definitely get him some minutes on Wednesday, whether that’s in the first period of the game, or the second, so he’ll feature at some point.

"[Timothy Castagne] is probably another week to 10 days away (after a hamstring injury). He’s obviously been working well with the medical team, but he’s still a little bit of time away."

What happened last time?

Leicester City were in blistering form as they swept to a 3-0 Premier League victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at King Power Stadium on 13 December.

James Maddison's pin-point low effort put the Foxes ahead on Filbert Way before James Justin slotted in Jamie Vardy for the home side's second. It got better, in some style, for City as Maddison twisted and turned on the edge of the area before curling it into the far corner.
